Nemaha NRD Park Permits are Required at:
• Duck Creek Recreation Area
• Kirkman's Cove
• Iron Horse Trail Lake
• Wirth Brothers Lake
*Permits are not required at Prarie Owl Lake
Annual permits are valid January 1, 2025 - December 31, 2025
Please Note: FIREWORKS ARE NOT ALLOWED AT ANY OF THE NEMAHA NRD RECREATION AREAS OR ON THE STEAMBOAT TRACE TRAIL

To complete your credit card payment, you’ll need to check two CAPTCHA boxes ("I am not a robot"):
- The first CAPTCHA is at the bottom of the first credit card screen.
- The second CAPTCHA is in the upper left corner of the next screen.
Permanently affix permit to lower, right (passenger side) corner of windshield; permits are non-transferable.
NOTICE: Permits are mailed as soon as possible and not later than 14 days after successful submission of all required information (including your entire license plate #) and valid payment. Until you receive your annual sticker in the mail, you may print your receipt (which is emailed to you with the subject line "Bankcard Order Confirmation") and place it in a temporary permit envelope at the park. Use the tear-off tab on the top of the envelope as your temporary permit until you receive your permanent permit sticker in the mail.
Lost permits/permits not received must be reported within 30 days of purchase. NNRD is not responsible for permits lost in the mail.
