The Nebraska Association of Resources Districts (NARD), in collaboration with the South Platte Basin Natural Resources Districts, will host the 2026 NRD Basin Tour on June 8 in North Platte, Nebraska.

This year’s tour will focus on the proposed Perkins County Canal in the South Platte River Basin. Participants will learn about the project and how it is planned to integrate with existing canal infrastructure and water storage systems throughout the basin.

The event will begin at noon Central Time and will open with a hosted lunch, followed by the basin tour.
