The Nemaha NRD hosted an open house on July 15th to celebrate the 50th anniversary! Visitors had the opportunity to visit with staff, play recreation area themed games for a chance to win prizes, learn about water control structures, read some old newspaper articles, and have refreshments. The district has accomplished a lot over the last 50 years and is looking forward to continuing the legacy of protecting lives, protecting property, and protecting the future for the next 50 years and beyond.
