Watershed of Wonders 2026 Youth Day Camp
The Nemaha NRD is excited to host Watershed of Wonders, a FREE youth day camp at Iron Horse Trail Lake near Pawnee City, NE on Thursday, June 18th from 9:00am to 2:00pm!
This camp is designed for children ages 10–12 and can accommodate up to 100 participants. Kids will enjoy a day full of hands-on learning about recreation and natural resources, paired with a variety of outdoor activities.
Participants will explore the outdoors through a nature walk, try archery, practice boat safety and take boat rides, learn fishing techniques and fish identification, develop outdoor preparedness skills, and take on a team race challenge.
Activities are set up as stations throughout the park, and groups will rotate through each station to get a full experience of everything the day has to offer.
Lunch, snacks, drinks, and prizes are all included!
