The Nemaha Natural Resources District (NRD) provides a variety of outdoor recreation opportunities through its five public recreation areas and one public trail. To ensure these facilities remain safe, enjoyable, and accessible, all visitors are required to follow the rules and regulations approved by the Nemaha NRD Board of Directors.

Receiving Your Permit
Your annual permit sticker(s) will be mailed within 14 days of receiving:
- Complete license plate number(s)
- Valid payment

Yes. Annual permits may take up to 14 days to arrive in the mail, but you may visit Nemaha NRD recreation areas immediately with valid proof of purchase. Simply print or save your permit receipt and keep it available during your visit until your permit sticker arrives.
Daily and annual Nemaha NRD permits are available for purchase at each park entrance. Simply scan the QR code sign with your smartphone to purchase online, or use a blue permit envelope to pay by cash or check.
Annual permits purchased online or through a blue permit envelope will be mailed within 14 days of purchase. Entry is valid immediately with proof of online payment or by displaying the temporary permit tab from the blue envelope on your vehicle until your annual permit arrives.
Nemaha NRD annual permit stickers may be purchased in person at our headquarters office, located at 62161 Highway 136, Tecumseh, NE 68450, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (closed from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. for lunch).
Permits are also available for purchase at each park entrance by scanning the QR code sign with your smartphone to purchase online or by using a blue permit envelope to pay with cash or check.
No. Nebraska State Park permits are not valid for entry at Nemaha NRD recreation areas.
